Sweet baby card

It was a busy week for babies around here!  One good friend had her little girl on Friday and another had her baby shower on Saturday.
I made a couple of variations on this card for them.  I love this patterned paper from October afternoon and thought it would make a cute, but not overly girly card.

Supplies:
Card - Blossom - PaperSource
Paper - Sidewalks - October Afternoon
Banner Die - Lil' Inker
Stamp - Studio G (from the dollar bins at Michaels)
Ink - Steel Blue - Fresh Ink
Twine - Pink & Yellow - Whiskers Graphics

Peonies? Poppies? Some sort of hybrid?

I bought this stamp from Impress ages ago and have always loved it.  I decided to play with some Copic Markers and my favorite - PolyShrink.

Since I didn't have a pinky marker, I used a poppy-ish color and turned my peonies into poppies!

Supplies:
Cardstock - White - PTI
Stamps - Peony - Impress, Sentiment - Sophie's Sentiment - Lawn Fawn
PolyShrink - White - Lucky Squirrel
Ink - Graphite Black Brilliance - Tsukineko
Markers -Salmon Red, Yellow Green & Light Walnut - Copic
Ribbon - Impress Rubber Stamping

The Swing of Things

After a long holiday trip, I'm struggling to get back into the swing of things.  I've made a few things for a publication call and finished a couple of baby gifts, but haven't gotten around to making anything for fun.

I got a lot of great stamps and dies for Christmas, so today I made a card with some of those.  I was looking to make something to brighten my mood.

The alignment on the pencils needs some work, but overall, I love it!

Supplies:
Cardstock - Khaki (PaperSource), Colors (The Paper Studio)
Stamps & Dies - Happy Trails set (Papertrey Ink)
Ink - Brilliance Graphite Black - Tsukineko
