Out of this World Card - Make It Monday #89 - Creating Windows for Floating Images

This week's Make it Monday was a fun idea - floating an image over a window.

I thought the rocket seemed like a perfect fit for this technique.

Here it is opened.

And the inside.  It was pretty simple, just required a bit of precision with lining up the layers.

Cardstock - White, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain - Papertrey Ink; Clear - Recollections
Stamps and Rocket Dies- Boy Basics: Out of the World - Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper - On the Bright Side 6x6 pad - My Mind's Eye
Square & Scalloped square - Spellbinders
Ink - Versmark; Hero Arts Black; Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans  - Ranger Distress Inks

  1. I love this! The rocket, the colors you used, the sentiment. All worked together perfectly!

  2. What a fun card. The rocket is perfect and the stars on the inside are just perfect.

  3. He's the cutest thing! Love the rocket!
